Fit & Sizing Guide
Handcrafted on Allen Edmonds' iconic 65 Last, our most celebrated and versatile silhouette.
- Profile: Features an elongated, classic almond cap-toe profile with a sleek cone and snug, supportive heel cup.
- Multi-Width Guarantee: Available in 4 specialized widths: Narrow (B), Medium (D), Wide (E), and Extra Wide (3E).
- Sizing Advice: Fits true to standard Brannock size. Because Goodyear-welted leather molds to your foot, an initial snug fit over the instep will break in smoothly within 3 to 5 wearings.
Care & Recrafting
Your Allen Edmonds are built to last a lifetime with proper care and routine refurbishment.
- Routine Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth after wear. Apply Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion monthly and finish with matching shoe cream to nourish the leather and preserve depth of color.
- Shoe Trees: Insert cedar shoe trees immediately after each wearing to absorb moisture and maintain the original shape.
- Factory Recrafting Service: When your soles or heels wear down, send your shoes directly to our Port Washington workshop where master artisans will disassemble, resole, re-cork, and refinish the uppers to like-new condition.

Unmatched craftsmanship and comfort
“This is my third pair of Allen Edmonds and they continue to exceed expectations. The leather quality is magnificent and having true width options (E for me) means no painful break-in period. Knowing they can be recrafted down the road makes them the smartest investment in my wardrobe.”
Timeless classic that gets better with age
“Superb construction, handsome finish, and fantastic arch support thanks to the cork insole. The 360-degree welt gives it that substantial American silhouette you just can’t find anywhere else.”
The Art of American Shoemaking
Every pair undergoes 212 meticulous steps, uniting century-old bench welt techniques with supreme orthopedic comfort and lifetime durability.
360º Goodyear Bench Welt
A continuous ribbon of premium leather is stitched around the full 360-degree perimeter of the shoe. This creates a water-resistant seal, ultimate lateral stability, and allows the shoe to be completely resoled repeatedly.
212-Step AssemblyCustomCork™ Insole System
Beneath the leather footbed rests a generous bed of natural cork. As you walk, warmth and pressure mold the cork to the exact imprint of your foot, creating bespoke orthopedic arch support that improves every time you wear them.
